      Suspected Car Burglar in Locust Valley

      Suspected Car Burglar in Locust Valley

      A suspected burglar in Locust Valley was seen last night around 4am going through cars between Forest Ave and North street. Ring Camera footage caught this image. Other residents reported a similar individual caught on camera in their driveway and checking car doors and walking around driveways.

      Nassau County Police Department’s, 2nd precinct which covers Locust Valley, Bayville, Lattingtown and other areas reported a 100% increase in burglary’s and a 138% increase in stolen vehicles from 2021 to 2022 which was the largest increase of major crimes according to Strat-com.
