“July 27, 2022
Dear Locust Valley School District Students and Families,
As we approach the start of the 2022-2023 school year, I am writing to inform you that for personal reasons, Locust Valley Middle School Principal Mr. Hogan is taking a leave of absence, effective August 30, 2022. At this time, it is expected that he will remain out of the building at least through December. We wish Mr. Hogan the best during this time.
Throughout this leave, Assistant Principal Mr. LoGerfo will serve as interim principal and Ms. Watson, the district’s coordinator of ENL and world languages, will assume the role of interim assistant principal. Both Mr. LoGerfo and Ms. Watson are highly experienced at the middle school level, and we are confident that they will provide a smooth transition for both students and staff.
Should you have any questions regarding these updates, please do not hesitate to contact my office at (516) 277-5001.
Sincerely,
Kenneth E. Graham, Ed.D., Superintendent of Schools“
