The Superintendent of Schools, Kenneth E. Graham, recently sent an email letter out to all parents notifying of LVM principal Hogan resignation. (Below) No mention on the reason for his departure though speculation is for family reasons.

      Email Sent:

I am writing to inform you that for personal reasons, Locust Valley Middle School Principal, Mr. Hogan has resigned effective December 7, 2022. We are thankful to Mr. Hogan for the years of service and all that he has done for the Locust Valley Central School District during his tenure here. We wish Mr. Hogan the very best.

Throughout Mr. Hogan’s leave this fall, Assistant Principal Mr. LoGerfo has served as the Interim Principal and Ms. Watson, the district’s Coordinator of ENL and World Languages, has assumed the role of Interim Assistant Principal. Both Mr. LoGerfo and Ms. Watson will continue in these roles for the remainder of this school year. We will begin the search for the permanent principal this winter for a July 1 start date.

      Sincerely,

Kenneth E. Graham, Ed.D., Superintendent of Schools
