Buckram Stables Cafe was conceived, designed and created by long time Locust Valley residents who embraced the nostalgia and history of the Gold Coast. They not only envisioned an atmosphere reminiscent of bygone days but built the restaurant to reflect it.

Stuey’s Smokehouse Barbecue was the offspring of a backyard passion project turned into a local business. With over 35 years in the restaurant industry at Friend of a Farmer, we began a new venture in Locust Valley and opened Stuey’s in the fall of 2016.
Karmic Grind
Sourced off of small farms in Colombia, where coffee is in season throughout the year and sent to an urban roastery in Brooklyn, our coffee takes fresh to another level. Roasted to order within weeks of leaving the farms, we receive our Devocion beans and serve them with great love and care in our shop in the quaint Gold Coast village of Locust Valley.
